We have a wide selection of costumes on-line and in both our Ashford and Twickenham stores. The majority of these costumes are purchase costumes but we also stock hire costumes as well. Our hire costumes are great fun and we are always adding to and updating our collection. There are a few things you should bare in mind though when thinking of hiring:

• Unfortunately our hire costumes aren't available through our website, you can book over the phone (if you have a credit/debit card to hand) but all hires must be picked up from one of our shops. This is due to problems with sizing and getting costumes to and back from customers. This policy is without exception so please don't ask.
• All hires require a deposit which varies from costume to costume. By only stocking replaceable costumes we manage to keep the deposits to a minimum and also keep our costumes fresh and vibrant.
• Customers are required to read our terms and condidtions of hire before hiring a costume. These are as follows:
• Standard costume hire is 3 days. Collection and return dates will be clearly written on your hire form. Extended hires are available at the time of booking and are subject to availability and at additional cost. Hires cannot be taken early as others may need to view the costume to pre-book for future events.
• Cancellations. There is no charge for cancellations provided we are notified 48hrs before the agreed collection date. Cancellations within 48hrs prior to collection will result in loss of hire fee or deposit
• Once hire costumes have been collected, they are considered "hired". No refunds can be given for costumes not worn. Staggerin' cannot be held responsible for unsuitability, incorrect sizing or hires made on behalf of others.
• During the hire the hirer must take reasonable steps to protect the costume(s) from loss or harm
• After the party return the costume and we do the cleaning.
• Late returns. Unauthorised late returns will incur a daily charge of £10 until the full deposit amount is reached
• Lost items. If integral parts of the costume are lost and replacements not available we will retain/take the full deposit.
• Please be considerate to fellow customers and return costumes on time. They may be booked by others and a late return might mean the costume misses the cleaning collection/delivery thus letting the next customer down.
• We have reclassified some of our costumes as “Sub-hires”. These are costumes with various imperfections that are generally coming to the end of their hire lives. None of the imperfections are extremely noticeable nor do they detract from the effect of the costume, however it isn’t fair of us to expect our customers to pay full price for a hire when the costume isn’t perfect or look as it does on the website. Therefore these costumes are available at a reduced price hire, perfect for students or those on a budget.

Hiring isn't always the best option for some people. There are benefits to purchasing as opposed to hiring and vice versa. For example most of our hire costumes aren't available to buy so hiring gives you more choice. However if you purchase a costume you don't have to be careful not to ruin it as there would be no deposit to worry about.
